This notice explains what SoleTraderSheetsUK does with your information when you use the site or request the free checklist.
Who we are
SoleTraderSheetsUK is a trading name of Thomas Johnson, a UK sole trader.
What information we collect and why
If you ask for the free Self Assessment checklist, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your name. We use these details to send you the checklist and occasional emails about our UK tax spreadsheets.
Our lawful basis for sending these emails is your consent. You confirm your subscription through a double opt-in email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
Our email provider
MailerLite processes and stores your signup details on our behalf so it can deliver the checklist and emails. MailerLite may store or process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep your details
We keep your signup details until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe, we will delete them within 30 days.
Your rights and how to contact us
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or withdraw your consent. To make a request, contact us through messages in our Etsy shop.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Calculators
The calculators run in your browser. We do not store the figures you enter into them.
Cookies and third-party services
The public pages do not set cookies of their own and do not use analytics or advertising trackers. The signup form sends your details directly to MailerLite only when you submit it; it does not load a MailerLite script or embedded form.
The site requests font stylesheets and font files from Google Fonts. These are used to display the site, not for analytics or advertising; Google receives the usual technical information needed to serve those requests.
The source code includes an optional sidebar_state preference cookie, but no public page uses that sidebar component, so it does not currently set a cookie on this site. If you visit MailerLite’s own pages, their separate cookie and privacy terms may apply.
